Baby Drew!

Life is pretty great around the Bean house! At the beginning of the year we found out that I am pregnant and we seriously couldn't be more excited about it. We decided not to tell anyone until I was about 12 weeks along, which fell right around Valentine's Day. We made cookies for our families and delivered them with a Valentine's Day card that said, "Love David, Ashley + Baby." Everyone's reaction was so fun! Our family is so excited for us and finally telling people made the whole thing feel more real.

At 16 weeks, we were on vacation in San Diego with my mom, dad, Andrea and Jeremy. Before we left for San Diego, Andrea suggested that I get a 3D ultrasound and find out the gender of the baby. I found this great place in San Diego that does 3D ultrasounds on a huge screen and has seating for the whole family. So I booked an appointment and while we were in San Diego, on my birthday, we all went to find out if the baby was a boy or a girl. I was so glad to have my family there with me, it made the experience that much more exciting. We found out we are having a BOY! We spent the rest of the evening at the outlet mall buying baby boy clothes, it made for a perfect birthday!

At 19 weeks, we had our ultrasound at the OB and were grateful to find out that he is healthy and growing!

Getting ready for a baby has been so much fun. There is so much to plan, pick out, decorate and prepare for! We've had so much fun preparing for the baby and it seems like we're going to be ready way before the due date at the end of August!
