Some days my job can be quite entertaining. I work at the University of Phoenix in the University Services call center. I have worked there for a year and sometimes my job can be very monotonous however, sometimes I get a gem of a caller that makes my day. For example, a few months ago a man called and wanted to know how many credits he has earned... seemed like a simple enough questions. I pulled up his records and told him he had 13 transfer credits and had earned 6 credits with University of Phoenix. The man said, "I know I can see that here on my transcript, but how many is that total?" Sir... really? 13+6 = 19... are you sure you earned all those credits?? The general public never ceases to amaze me. Check out this email I got from a student last week:
To Whom It May Concern:
I e-mailed this address last week after receiving an e-mail saying my address has been changed. It stated if you receive this and did not ask for your address to be change to please contact you. Well I am for the 2nd time. Can someone please get back to me on why my information was changed. It's not that hard, you click your mouse to reply, use your skinny or fat fingers and hit buttons that say, oh I'm sorry we will take care of it and I'm sorry we messed up.
Good customer service you should be proud
I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF SOMEONE WOULD E-MAIL ME BACK WITH AN ANSWER.
More work stories to come I am sure...
